The Marshall Plan aid was distributed among the participant states on a per capita basis. The larger amount was given to the major industrial powers. The more aid per capita was directed towards the Allied nations, with less for those that had been involved in the Axis or those who remained neutral. The largest recipient of this plan was the United Kingdom, followed by France and West Germany.
